(3) If the measured temperature data is analyzed, in general, we require that the maximum effective temperature rise of the heat sink installed by Infineon rectifier diode is less than 50 °C. That is, when the ambient temperature of the heat sink is 25 °C, the temperature of the heat sink should be less than 75 °C; if the ambient temperature reaches 45 °C, the temperature of the heat sink should be less than 95 °C.

When the module is mounted on the heat sink, a thin layer of thermal grease should be applied between their contact faces. Before applying grease, remove the oxide layer on the contact surface of the heat sink with fine sandpaper, then wipe the surface with absolute ethanol to make the contact good to reduce the thermal resistance.

When the module is fastened to the surface of the radiator, use M5 or M6 screws and spring washers, and tighten the screws with 4NM torque. The connection to the main electrode of the module should be copper busbars with a smooth and flat contact surface for good contact. After the module has been in operation for 3 hours, the screws must be tightened again.
